Agua Amarga is a small fishing village in the province of Almería, set deep in the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. It is located 55 km from Almería airport which receives daily flights from both Madrid and Barcelona and from several UK airports. The distance by car is 560 and 750 km from Madrid and Barcelona, respectively. Access is via exit 494 (Carboneras) off the A-7.
